Therese, this is a neat shot -- I like the sun rays you have coming off the water/dew drops.

YES, it's all good when it comes to the holidays!
Mercer is opened, but a lot of the flowers are dead. I only hung around the gardens fairly close to the headquarters, so I didn't really see what the forest and other areas were like. I'm really glad they're opened-was getting Mercer Withdrawal symptoms.

Thanks John, Mother Nature can be very pretty even though this is not a fancy subject.

Therese, it was nice meeting you at Mercer this morning. The picture looked great on your viewfinder, but even better full size.

BTW, you didn't miss much in the back. The areas that are open are pretty barren, and a large part of the park is still closed to the public.

Thanks Debbie! I didn't really see the rays of light on the drops until I magnified this tiny scene on my screen.

Hi Alan, it was certainly nice meeting you as well! Mercer must have had a slew of trees down to be closed so long.

Therese, I love the reflections in the rain drops. Pretty amazing!

They do still have lots of work to do at Mercer. The part that's actually closed is really just the area down by the creek, but much of the area is yet to be replanted. It's going to be fun to watch what they do.

Oh wow! I can't tell you how many times I have tried to get something decent in focus in a water drop. That is so cool and the starburst is just icing on the cake.

Yes, this was a bit maddening. I thought there wasn't any wind until I tried getting the drops in focus.
