I send my wife roses every year for our wedding anniversary... our 31st this year... Usually send them to her work and never get to see them. This year she brought them home because of the short work week. Well needless to say I had to get a photo. This is the first rose I've ever tried to capture. It is full frame with my Nikkor AF 105/2.8D on a tripod f/45 @ 8 sec.  I hope all my friends here have a happy and healthy New Year! Thank for looking!--------------------------- Jim |

Happy New Year, Jim! And congratulations! Since you like macro why not in the spring plant some roses? If not in the yard maybe in a big pot. Roses are always blooming at my house year round. |
