Dennis and Angel left me at Warren Lake and as soon as they left one of the Bald Eagles decided to fly by and perch on a tree.

I didn't see it at first so I owe the credit to the 3 birding ladies.

Awesome! I have to get out there on Sunday, for sure.... :) I see Dennis picked up the D300 grip. Not surprised, he couldn't help but smile while testing out mine at 8fps! Looks like perfect weather you guys had out there. Keep em comin'.... :)

btw, are you more likely to see the eagles at dusk, or any other particular time?

Lonnie, What tripod are you using with your Wimberley? Looks like a perfect set up... :)

Thanks, Bruce.

So your the one. That is one fast camera and it makes my 6.5 fps seem slow. I have only been out there in the afternoon but some are saying the Eagles would be more active in the early morning. I am using the Manfrotto 055XProB. I like it and it is priced well.
