Crazy Green Herons, I just love these guys and
soooooooo look forward to their return to the area.
Images may be a bit large, but file sizes are withi reason
all 400mm w/1.4X, typically ISO 400, 1/320 @ f/8-11

Nice Dave!! They are definitely the clowns of the Heron world. Never a dull moment when they are "on the prowl" (Well sometimes when they "freeze" for several moments before the strike, it can get trying)-Like the last one best.
Cameron Prairie used to be loaded with these guys, but they haven't quite recovered from the latest storms yet.
