PoP!

This is a discussion on PoP! within the Nature and Wildlife forums, part of the Showcase category; I definitely want to try this shot again when there's no wind (very optimistic-LOL!) Sony Alpha 700, Minolta 200mm macro ...

Wow! I didn't know they looked like that...This is really cool! The center placement is just right in the frame. And as always great detail! Is the wind ever going to let up so I can go out and play? I'm starting to get macro shooting withdrawals and that always makes me want chocolate candy bars and ice cream.

Jim, your so funny. I've cut wildflowers before and brought them inside the house. I know that's cheating huh? It has been terribly windy for too long now.

Thanks Jim for your kind words. LOL! I will go into shock when I ever get to photograph in calm conditions.

Therese, excellent macro.

The title is very appropriate given that one starts with the delicate yellow and white in the middle and then as the eye wanders outwards you are hit with the brighter purplish blue and red. Really like the effect of what you have chosen to isolate in the macro.

If this is the lovely result of when it was windy - imagine when it is calm :-)
