My new 70-200 VR, VeRy sweet!

Yesterday, A brown truck dropped by late in the day, and so today,
I went out and tried out my new toy!

Aside from the fact that there was almost no daylight, it was VeRy
cold and rainy.

OMG. I have a huge learning curve to get used to it, but here are
some quick uploads, SOOC except for minor level tweaks,
and resize to 800x536.

This lens is simply breathtaking!!!! NOW I know why you all rave about it!!!!

Anyone notice the dreaded vignetting on a FF body? I don't see it at all on my D700.

Open up the aperture to f/4 or larger and zoom to 135+mm and you will see darker corners. Smaller than f/4 it is much less apparent. At least on my D3.

I haven't noticed the issue at 200mm at 3.5 (usually the maximum I use). I will try to find some examples.
