I like that Live,Laugh,Love shot there ... very nice.

I need a few more gigs to get this lens ... it's definitely nice.

At a recent strobist educational meetup I was shooting Kitty while tethered and projecting the images. I was asked about depth of field and how it affects a portrait.

I've been looking at picking up my first prime lens. It's a tossup between this one and a 50mm.

Right now, all I have is the 18-105 that came with my D90. I love the lens and it's done well for my learning process... but unfortunately, with knowledge comes much more expense.
