Great all around lens.
Did you stack those rocks? Or find them that way?

This was from a series I grabbed when the driver of this inflatable boat was thrown out, and the boat was running wide open, cutting circles, and almost flipping over with each turn.

D200 and the 18-200mm VR.

I really like this lens given its versatility but eventually sold it for a 16-85VR & 70-300VR combo. Here's a shot on a D80 at ISO 100 65mm F8. I think it's a little over saturated but decent enough.

Interestingly, the filter mounting ring FELL OFF of my 18-200 over the weekend. I was out shooting at the lake during a bbq, and the lens cap, 72mm Nikon CPL and filter mounting ring all fell off together as a unit and rolled away.

Upon later inspection, I found that the filter mounting ring is attached to the end of the lens via six tiny screws that are normally hidden by a black plastic stick-on ring. The stick-on ring kept the screws from being lost. When I got home I reattached the ring with my handy-dandy tiny screwdriver set. Probably should have used a minute amount of loctite, but will definitely keep my eye on this "design feature" in the future.
