I removed my sample shots because I was tired of the crap being posted about them. No you're coming back months later to pile on. As one of the very few folks to have actually used Nikon's most expensive lens, I thought people would be interested. Apparently doing so is just an invitation for abuse. This is a sample image thread, not an invitation for criticism of the poster's shots. What do I have to do to be left in peace on TPF? Maybe it's time to move on down the road.

No offense was intended toward you Bruce as the comment wasn't directed at you. I went to the other guy's site and simply reported what I saw there. Guess I didn't make that clear.

Thanks, Doug. Sorry about the confusion. Perhaps we should just start a new thread on this lens and have the mods delete this trashed one. BTW, the 600mm VR is worth the $$$, wish I had the $11K sitting around for one. ;-)

Hello, this area is not critique photos it is to show off the lens, the photo critique sections are elsewhere.

Texas can exist without the United States, but the United States, cannot, except at great peril, exist without Texas. Sam Houston.
