It was a B&B outside of Fredericksburg. They claimed all sorts of hoopla about being ROMANTIC and LUXURIOUS resort...blah blah blah. Turns out they are really good at the marketing. Surprise!
We laughed our a$$e$ off and (several pounds of money). All that insanity doesnt come cheap. Today is our 12 year anniversary. We went last night and got back today.

Another couple arrived right after us. They didnt have the good humor we did. They looked very not into the cap gun museum, the blind wolf-dog, and the no locks on the doors thing. It was an adventure!
ps - the llama clued me in. hee hee.

I gave up on 'romantic' anniversaries... lol... I have total husband envy of one of my girlfriends. She was introduced to maternity underwear when she was pregnant... and her son was 5 or 6 or so... and she still had those underwear. They were COMFORTABLE. So, anyway, she came home one day and her husband met her at the door. Told her that he had thrown away ALL of her maternity underwear... and that she needed to go to their bedroom. He had made (or had ordered) a panty bouquet for her...
How freaking cool is that?

Hehe, no really, its a pretty place. Its Star of Texas Bed and Breakfast and its very private, with hot tubs out side the rooms! Im thinking that Jeff and I will stay out there for our 10 anniversary......he said we could renew our vows, if he could dress like Steve Correll in the wedding scene in 40 year old virgin!
Here is a wedding I shot there last year Wedding

i learned my lesson. pretty photos dont mean nothing.
check out this place. Looks real nice. Some kinda quirky things. But supposedly super posh, right? Whoo ha ha! Its more of a ranch with no cows or staff. But the photos they took sure are pretty.
and i put mr copper smiliecon there b/c he never gets used and he looks so happy!
