If nobody has any in stock, it's a sure sign of one of two things: either it's so durned popular nobody can keep it in stock, or Canon is about to introduce a new model and has intentionally dried up supply prior to its release. Salt them ducats away. You'll get your dreamcam soon enough :) |

The Best Buy near me had them in the local warehouse with a couple of days lead time to get them. But I'd recommend not taking any new gear to a wedding until you thoroughly test it and know all the functions by heart. Even if that new gear is as awesome as a 5D Mark II! |

The ones near me actually are selling them as body-only. I played with one for awhile, but am not in the market just yet. I'll make do with what I have for now.  |

Have you called Roberts Imaging? They're in Indianapolis, but they seem to keep 5D2's in stock fairly well. |
