My Wife bought two pair of shoes from this outfit back before Christmas.
Somewhere during the purchase she unknowingly authorized them to enroll her in a "Passport To Health" subscription service. Since this date this company has been charging the credit card monthly for $29.99.
Somewhere during the purchase transaction there must have been a very subtle promotion to this "Passport To Health" thing that required her to 'opt out' if she didn't want enroll in it. Whatever it was, she didn't notice it, and was automatically enrolled, and charged $29.99 a month ever since!

A Google search brought up a number of hits where other people had also been scammed this same way, for $29.99 a month, by this Amerimark Outfit in Ohio.

Visa said we would have to call Amerimark, and cancel the subscription, and attempt to get a refund before we could do anything from the CC end.

Beware of this company, or read the fine print very carefully.

There should be a law against this kind of stuff. I can't count the times I've heard "There's no cost to try if free for 30 days. After the 30 days you can call and cancel whatever it is." They know most of us won't remember to cancel in 30 days. I just hang up on them now. I used to ask which credit card the would like to charge for the time I am spending listening to that garbage. That really confused most of them. I just hang up now. Some companies are just downright sneaky.
