I've never actually seen the Statue of Liberty much less been in her head but this pano gives a good idea of what it's like up there.

Looks smaller than I expected. I've never been either. I thought the yellow cord with the trouble lights added something.

Man, that looks like a lot of stair climbing!

works ok now.

It is smaller. I wonder what the requirements will be to get up there ?

I saw an interview with NBC news crew talking with I believe was the Secretary of Interior (interviewing him inside of the crown), and he said it was going to be a "lottery" to obtain tickets, since only a small handfull of people can be in the crown at one time. By having the "lottery" system, no-one would be able to obtain special privledges. And because of the narrow stairs, there will be some physical limitations/criteria established as well.

heck... just getting onto the island is a "pain"... lines lines lines...

I'd love to do this, but wow... another line.

Was there in 2006 and it was painful busy... I shoulda done it back before they closed it.

Call me crazy but I have a weird fear of the Statue of Liberty. I can't explain it but the darn thing just freaks me out! I can't even look at her face without getting the shivers.

The pano is not bad, it should have been done in HDR though....
