Saw the top of a grizzlies head - 05-25-2009, 10:20 PM

Light was getting to low and he was setting so low in the brush it wasn't worth trying to get a shot of him/her but now know that they are out and about in the Tetons.

Saw a moose and elk also today, light was low then also but this portends a good day tommmorrow.

A LOT of snow on the Tetons and even some on the ground in the park still!

Supposed to be 35 in the morning-woot!

Well no big animal sightings, heard that a moose was on a trail after I had passed the point, have seen a lot of marmonts (look like a beaver with hairy tails).

Hidden Falls is flowing like crazy..

hit 35 overnight

Sunrise at 5:30 am!!!

Southern half of Yellowstone under snow pack while northern half is clear. National Park Service is hearding buffalo in from Montana so got a chance to see about 300 buffallo together and then saw them being moved further into the park.

Yellowstone not very crowded at all right now.
