...and my good friend (we sang together for 4 years)
Jason Wong (the pharmacist shown on the HEB trucks....)


I guess I'll settle for some minor league notoriety punctuated by spectacular obscurity.

Girl I went to HS with was one of the blonde flight attendants in Catch Me If You Can.
She is also the chick that got out of the pool wearing only a thong in Night at the Roxbury.

Terrence Kiel was lab partners with me in college. He was drafted by the Chargers and started in the NFL, but died in a car accident last year. He was a stud in college, so not really a surprise that he played on Sunday.

I lived down the street from Heather Locklear. She went to prom with my good friend's brother. I also went to school with Rachel Ferrara (infamous). She was on the phone with Kato whatever his last name is when he heard O.J. Simpson hop the fence or whatever. So, she had to testify. I went to school with Linda Green who's dad won an Oscar for the Muppet Movie. Hmm, I know there are others, but I can't think of them off hand. Oh, my parents got an honorary membership at the Palm Beach Polo Club from the lady that wrote Rocky IV or something like that, plus my brother played polo with Stephanie Powers lol. Met lots of celebs in the past. Oh, haha, I went to school with Jan Fawcett, Farah's niece.

Oh yeah, my dad's HS sweetheart was Rhonda Sheer. I've never met her, but they lived together for two years and were Prom King/Queen. Then my dad married my mom, so Rhonda Sheer was almost my mom.

Now Rhonda Sheer is married to my dad's best friend from HS, who also dated her for a while before my dad.

How about famous people with the same name? I share my name with a VP of Sun Micro Systems and a photographer of Jazz musicians in New Orleans...is that why I played saxophone in HS but gave it up for photography?

My cousin's wife's brother married Roger Staubach's daughter. All this fame and I still can't throw a football.

My wife borrowed a dress from Tom Cruise's sister who lived in my dorm. Tom's sister was so proud of her little brother's movie debut opposite Brooke Shields in Endless Love. She, and a bunch of others went to the movie to see him in his big talking role. If you blinked you missed him. Later, she found out that he was going to get to be in a movie with George C. Scott (Taps), and the rest is history. Oh, and it was a cool dress.
