Since Capt. Tom, Jeff and Jake all got their own thread, I decided to start one for Don cuz he is the most awesome, most helpful, most wonderfullest mentor!

Heather, you are going to force Abel to open a tribute catagory on the forum. There are quite a few deserving photographers on the forum.

You will have to look far and wide to even try and find another Bondarnes. If you tried to put a figure on all of the help and mentoring that Don Barnes has provided to other photographers, community and church members, strangers, and I'm sure there are many others on the list over the years, the $$$ would reach bailout proportions.

Don has a very shiny crown awaiting him but I pray he doesn't have access to it for many more years!

Don is awesome and he is a helpful guy. No words can describe just how awesome he is. Maybe one day I will actually get to meet and work with him and KNOW just how awesome he truly is!

Mr. Barnes is a great person! I once had a great opportunity to tag-along one of his weddings. I had wonderful experience (although I didn't do him any good. LOL)

One of the things I love about Don is that he tells it like it is, without sugar coating... and it's always truly helpful information. And he throws a great party.
