Thumbs up Look what I did!! - 06-09-2009, 07:37 PM


I'm so proud. Had a break through tonight. Figured out how to manipulate layers in PSE7. Started with a pure black .jpg that was created from a MS Powerpoint slide (cause I couldn't figure out how to make a shape in PSE). Then I cropped it, and added two layers of text.

Right about now, I'm sure your rolling your eyes saying, "damn amateur!", but this is a SERIOUS breakthrough. Perhaps now I might figure out how to add a vignett on my photos. WOOWHOO!

K... I'm going play some more.

I do have my glasses... and I agree

Get The Adobe Photoshop CS(x) Book for Photographers by Scott Kelby and you'll make more "big leaps"...

BTW- x is the version number for CS... Like CS3 or CS4... he probably has one for elements. If you go to Amazon and search on his name you'll find them...
