I love rain in June and am thankful that I haven't had to turn on the sprinkler system this year - BUT, no electricity therefore no water and fences are down. Can't get a hold of the electric company and have been trying for almost four hours. The generator is keeping the refrigerators and freezer going. It's not still springtime, is it? Oh, and the neighbors across the straight have electricity. This sucks.

If I wasn't afraid of falling over and drowning that would be a good option. It's very hot and humid and still no electricity. The electric company, that I reached at 5:30 this morning, had no clue how long (days) it would be. What's worse, is we are on a well so we don't have water either.

When I saw the weather map on TV last night I could tell that you were getting some nasty stuff. Sorry about the electricity, but I'm glad you're okay.

Ugh, well, I'm just glad you are ok. Feel free to come here and hang out if you need a place to stay until it comes back on. What a storm last night!

Thanks, Wes and Leslie. We're ok. Not working today 'cause I'm on generator duty. It would be much worse if we didn't have that.

Good God! It's pouring again and has been all night. I know we need the rain, the lakes are low but to quote Holly, "what's with the storms". It's only 8:00 and I need a nap.
