Am I the only one who notices things like this? Spelling mistakes irritate the fire out of me....

I'd love to see a follow up on this one with the money being found. I like happy endings.

From Wikipedia:
Today, all major newspapers and magazines in the UK use -ise. The Times had been using -ize until the early 1990s, when it decided to switch to the -ise spelling.

Try working for a Dutch company that uses the ise ending and forces the employees in the US to walk in lock step. We also have to spell color as colour.

Oh, and that whole 'colour' thing just sends me plumb over the edge. It's the equivalent of someone trying to use a fake British accent for me.

The people on the other side of the Atlantic have used English far longer than we have, and they spell things differently. Heck, even Canadians do too. I'd cut them some slack.

Note that the website is "www.timesonline.co.uk"...

Yes but that 'colour' word comes up alot in poultry genetics, and it sends me plumb over the edge when a US Citizen who can barely point out where the UK is on a map tries to use "colour."

Sorry... thread hijacking over now.
