I've never been to Stockholm, but my dog has Stockholm syndrome.

My wife is from there. I will ask her, but I know there are tons of old buildings all over town and alot of museum's. If you go to there website, there is alot of information as well.

Thomas, Stockholm is great place to visit (I am sure that Kevin's wife will have more/better info than I). Gamla Stan (old town) and Wasa Museum are a must see (also visit the Tre Kronor (Three Crowns) castle - located in Gamla Stan). Stockholm City hall is the location for the Nobel awards (but not the Nobel Peace). I have some pictures from several trips a few years ago on my web site (http://www.digitalscapephotography.c...io_Sweden.html). It is very easy to get around. Enjoy your visit!!

Ok, I just asked the old lady what she recommends. She said to check out http://visit-stockholm.com/ and click on "What to see". She says that is where she tells everyone to go when asking what to see. I have yet to go there myself, and can't wait! Just looking at her pictures and the pictures of her family's land there is just amazing.

She also recommends Gamla Stan (old town). She also says you can go to the city hall tower and you can see all of Stockholm from there. In a nutshell she says to check out the museums and churches (most beautiful architecture).

Visit the Profoto factory while you're there and bring me back a few Pro-8a packs. Please.

We are booked to stay at the Diplomat Hotel, right in the center of the city and right on the water. We should be able to walk to most of the great stuff.
