Guys Night

My wife and daughter went to Longview tonight for my daughters tobacco awareness class. She really wasn't to blame, sort of. A friend left a pack if smokes in her car and when she was pulled over for having a headlight out the officer saw them and ticketed her. I've explained to her how she is responsible for everyone in her car and whatever they do and she understands now.
Anyway it's just me and my son tonight. We're going to watch a "good" movie, meaning one with lots of car chases, shooting, women in skimmpy clothes (thats for him not me, honest ). We have two big Cokes and two big DrPeppers along with some chips and dip. For the main course I'm making pan fry potato's with corned beef..... There will be plenty of moaning and gas being passed later. I almost feel sorry for the girls when they get home, after all they have to eat at TGIF tonight, probably have the Jack Daniels steak.

Oh man, your post had me laughing out loud! My son had gotten in trouble in a similar fashion. A buddy asked to keep his can of dip in my son's backpack until after school. POP! I had the same talk with him as it sounds you have with your daughter.

On to the guys night, HECK YA! I love being able to crank up the way over powered stereo watching a good action flick when the daughter and old lady are away, eating junk food and then them wondering why it stinks so bad when they get back! LOL

sounds great !!!!!! u made me remember when my pops and I had extra money (growing up had some pretty hard times) it was just me and my dad growing up my moms had split when i was 7 but anyways on fri dad had extra $$$$ after paying the bills , groceries, lunch money and coffe for him on breaks we would buy our little feast and make it for the late night movie on channel 13 after the news. hahaha (ussually a john wayne or clint eastwood western movie was the best) we'd cook ground beef with salt papper and garlic, little tomato sauce simmer. boil in the bag white rice, can of refied beans and tortillas, oh yea and heat up some wolf brand chilli (wuff thats too long) anyways . ,,, you place the rice on the place in the middle first, then grab a tortilla spread some refried beans on the inside with a healty portion of ground beef roll it up (burrito) place it on top of the rice and then add the wolf brand chilli on top !!!!!!!!!!! mmmmm mmmmmmm !!!!!!!!!!! man i miss those days hagning out with my pops ! after the movies we'd build plastic modles till about 4 or 5 in the morning... wow thanx john u brought back a nice memorie for me , i hope u and ur boy have a good night,,,, he'll remember them forever !!!
