ok i need to know if any one knows what type of bug this is .....i dont have a picture yet but it looks like a huge grasshopper it lives in the swamps behind my house and when its wings spread its real bright red

When we first moved into our house, it was the first one in our section and these huge monsters were everywhere along with lots of others. I wondered what country we moved to!!! They looked liked grasshoppers on steroids!!! I took them back to Dallas and people were mortified!!! | | | |
