Yeah, I've been exercising outdoors in the afternoons after work. Yesterday was pretty toasty, temps today are even a bit higher. At least the humidity has been fairly low for this time of year.

Be glad. I've been doing side work over the past couple weeks involving extended periods of time in the attic... including tonight. No bueno.

Ummmm..... hello? Texas? Summer?

This shouldn't be a shocker.

I do feel for the folks that have to work in this kind of heat, though. Like Steve said, "Hydrate often"!

It's definitely hot!
But it hasn't stopped me from bicycle commuting to work... 125 miles a week's worth!
That is, if I can fit in all 5 days without needing a car for something. If I can ride tomorrow (looks like I can) that's a full 5 days this week.
People probably look at me and feel sorry for me or think I'm an idiot or crazy.
I could be... I have a 1.5 year old loaded Audi A3 with only 16k miles on it sitting in the garage. LOL!

So do you have showers available at your workplace? If not I feel sorry for your co-workers. I know I'd be pretty sweaty and disgusting after a 12 mile ride in this weather....

107.6 here at my home in Killeen, based on my outdoor thermometer. I think that is as hot as I have seen it. Umm maybe warm is a better description since July and August are still ahead of us.

Yeah, but it's hotter then a normal June.
When I got back from an aerial shoot today at Meacham Airport, it was 107 out on the tarmac.

I admit 107 is hot but at least that is in Killeen. It's been 30 years since I lived there but from what I remember even that is tolerable if you can stay in the shade. Not comfortable, but tolerable.
Here in the northeast corner of the state you wouldn't be able to breath and shade would do no good. The humidity is a killer!

It's hot and dry. Haven't had any rain to speak of in many days.

I had to stop a fight in my front yard today. Two trees were fighting over a dog.

Just think of it as only 38°.
