Thanks all, yes proud and happy...score reflects standing of being in top 1,500 of the 150,00 who annually take the test..sort of helps when you apply for certain law schools...way beyond me.

Congrats to him for doing well on the first step in the process. I'm sure he is excited and you are very justified in feeling proud of him. Where is he thinking of applying? If he can get out without drowning himself in debt, he'll have a huge leg up on a lot of his colleagues. As a practicing lawyer for 24 years, I have a lot of opinions about where the profession is headed, but I won't bore you with them, unless you want them. He just needs to go in with his eyes open and understand the reality of the currently grim job market for many young lawyers. Still, it can be a very rewarding career if you find the right niche.

Thanks again for comments and advice..son has a level head, hard worker..and aware of reality of it all, a full head of common sense and very logical. Has his list of schools that he has been refining and they are all schools that he has researched deeply..he is one to be proud of....I would print a list of the schools but I promised him not to get ahead of the process..
