Yes, I'm bragging! Tomorrow a.m. , I am off to WA State for 80 degree weather and beautiful scenery!!! But, way more important than that, I finally get to spend some real, quality time with my oldest son who is stationed in Everett, WA!!! It's been four years since I could count time spent with him in days rather than hours! Wooo hoooo!!!

Thanks, Richard! It's funny because I have my camera bag packed but not my other luggage! Go figure.

It is beautiful here - without a doubt. The funniest thing is listening to the local forecast talking about the heatwave. Granted, it has been in the mid 60's for highs and now it's mid 80's but heatwave? They should come to Texas for a week!

I've spent some time in the Pacific Northwest and I must have been very lucky.
I can't recall it ever raining on me while I was there.
Seattle is a great city. Get out into the harbor and see it from that perspective.
For a hoot, take one of the " Duck " tours that drive through the city and then go into the water. Fun time.

Show us some photos when you get a chance.

Thanks. Good ideas Tom. We are going to Kerry Park in Seattle for fireworks tomorrow night. I'm hoping to get some skyline shots at sunset and then some shots of the fireworks with the skyline. Should be a crazy night with TONS of people. It's advertised as the best fireworks show in WA - probably is. No shots yet but next week is the busy one with lots of sights to see.

Thanks for the tip, Janice. I've never been to Kerry Park so I had no idea of the size.
