Any suggestions for family GP ? - 07-01-2009, 07:51 AM

I live North of McKinney, and my long-time family GP recently retired, he was a very personable & caring individual that took time to sit & chat with patients. Had a very small volume business, but was not only a GP but turned into a friend as well. Unfortunately he turned over his patients to another Dr. in Plano which is troublesome to get to. Looking for someone similar in the McKinney area if possible. Does anyone have any recommendations or experiences with a similar GP in the area ?

Thanks.
Randy

Dr. Vicki Seidmeyer is who I go to. She and her staff seem to be very good. My kids' doctor is back in Dallas, but when I don't feel like taking them all the way into Dallas, I will take them to her office. I'm very picky about who my kids see, and she and her staff seem to know their stuff. Here is her info:

Address: 2760 West Virginia Parkway, Suite 100
McKinney, TX 75071

Fax: 972-542-5395

Leslie,

Thanks. I overlooked updating the post, I found a new doc at the McKinney med-plaza on Virginia Pkwy ... met him yesterday, runs a small practice and seems to be similar to the previous doc I had. So appreciate you providing a thought.

My GP (we refer to him as Dr. Wonderful and credit him with saving my wife's life when he listened to her, which led to finding her cancer) runs a very small practice out of his home on Church.. just north of Virginia. Harmony Family Health.. http://www.harmonyfamilyhealth.com/index.html
