That's why I took a picture of it now! Never had it this way before and wanted to document the fact that it was clean and orderly

okay - maybe it's just me - but unless you've got some serious light control options and you calibrate frequently - with that much light behind you, it'll affect the way your monitors are seen.

I like the desk though... ALOT!

I do calibrate frequently, and honestly it stays fairly dark in here. I haven't noticed any glare, etc, and even in the middle of the day, the blinds knock a lot of the edge off the ambient light. I am going to hang some drapes as well.

I will keep an eye on the calibration issues

One advantage of CRTs is that blacks are black. They never are on LCD.

Nice. I like neat and find it hard to be creative when things are in disarray.

You are probably not going to believe this (maybe you will) but the desk top is a throw away. The place I used to work at ordered new workstations, and this top was damaged during delivery and was headed to the dumpster. I saved it and set it aside for the last 5 or 6 months. The base is a part of an old dresser set that my parents picked up at an auction 10 or 11 years ago, and did have a mirror on it. When I was moving it around to wax the floor, one of the mirrors came flying off, so I took the whole mirror assembly off of it, and put the old desktop on top of it, and started putting puter pieces on in to see if it would work. Sure enough, it all fits fairly nice. The desk to the left is one that is alot older than me, and I need to strip the rest of the blue paint off of it at some point.

Glad you like the desk, and at some point in the future I will probably replace it with an actual corner unit workstation so that the work surfaces are even.

That's a cool setup. I've got an actual computer desk that closes up so that everything but whatever's on the desktop is hidden. One thing I find is that I never have enough desktop space!
