I often stand at work, because sitting hurts me.

I'm not sure about forcing them to do this....but, sometimes I believe I would be WAY more productive if I could stand while proofing sessions. Lord knows I would probably spend less time on forums, lol!

From what I've heard of working conditions in Japan, it does not surprise me.

Just another reason that I'm nervous, as I, too, have Japanese overlords.

Having worked in Japanese factories and been there far too many times, it doesn't surprise me in the least. Note the uniforms. Conformance is a virtue.

Handicapped? You probably aren't working there anyway, the handicapped have virtually no rights in Japan whatsoever. Consider yourself fortunate that they let you live.....

Wow, as much as I love my Canon stuff, this makes me want to boycott them. How many other companies do this? It's insane

Many of the things we do in the USA seem equally insane to them. Like eating in the car, giving women equal rights....it is a cultural thing.

later,
LOL-right Angel- that 1ds2 is a real horse I really love it. Right now the 1d3 is the my only canon in which I have little confidence. It was their attitude about fixing the thing that drove me to get my feet wet with Nikon. That D700 is also awesome.
