Dude... you could finance a third world country with that vault and its contents.

What's that noise ? Sounds like my truck alarm ! Hey, where's my truck ?
Check Craigslist for good "used" equipment prices.

If it makes him feel safer, go for it.
I prefer .45 ACP for equipment protection since the photographer is the most valuable part of the equation.

Totally agree with you on that one, Tom. That's where the "357" in my username came from...

hmmm... the guy had a custom license plate: BOKEH. Yeah, out of all the tools he can carry in that vault, I think he was the biggest.

Nice if you have $1800 to $3500 to spend. http://www.truckvault.com/Default.aspx

He just showed everyone his custom plate and make of vehicle and told them that there will be thousands of dollars of equipment locked in the back while he stays in a hotel. I assume he publicizes his schedule at his site so it wouldn't be hard to determine where he would be for a class. At the auto forums I frequent, most people blur their plate number so the vehicle can't easily be found.

Guess I could slip up to Washington and become a Nikon user. Think the guy would be happy if someone broke in and switched out his gear for some worn out Canon stuff?

Call him up and say: "Do you own a black chevy with a license plate reading Bokeh?... Not anymore!" then hang up. LOL
