Exclamation $8,000 puppy FREE to a good home - 07-07-2009, 07:13 PM

Animals love me. Especially dogs. No idea why.

Short version - I have a pure bread champion puppy here! It's gotta be an $8K show dog that just fell on hard economic times. Now she's all skinny and hungry, but she has a winning personality!

She is so sweet and has the best little doggie smile Ive seen in a while. She needs someone to love her, hug her, and squeeze her - and feed her too.

And best part - she's totally worth every last penny of the $8K, but if you act now, you can have her for FREE! Just provide a letter of recommendation from another dog and she's all yours.

Seriously - I have a cute little, underfed, big-footed, floppy eared puppy here. Im in Abilene. Drop me a line if you want her. Trying to avoid the pound. She's so sweet I thought it was worth writing her a great sales ad.

Have you tried an all breed rescue?

I dont think we have anything like that around here. I would be so happy if a rescue thing would take her. Shes so sweet. When she's all fattened up, I know someone would be pleased as punch to find her at the pound, but right now she looks like she belongs on a change can. Ive never seen a dog so skinny and so happy.

If there is one around here - somebody let me know.

What kind of dog is it? And what are you meaning a 8,000 champion puppy ? Puppies can't be champions unless they are over 6 months old and have been in a show. And if it is a show puppy the breeder would surely love to hear about their puppy falling into the wrong hands. I know I would want someone to contact me if they got a hold of one of MY show puppies or PET...

I have a pure bread champion puppy here! <-- That's not literal.

Shes not made outa bread, and shes a champion in the hearts of anyone who's held her.

Im not sure what she is. She is pretty with auburn fur, big eyes, and floppy ears. And she's really skinny. I dont think a photo would do her justice. If you're around, you should come see her. She's really really sweet.

Does that mean she likes to loaf around? Or is a little crusty? Or would take a lot of dough to care for?

The last two dogs I've owned have been rescues. I've got room in my heart, but not in my house.

I'm at capacity as well... unfortunately. If you lived closer, I'd offer to come by and try to get some cute photos to help "sell" her (not that you can't - it's just that dogs are what I do!).

I totally suck at shooting dogs. And I think this one will cover me in kisses if I try. She's so cute. I was mainly hoping to buy her some more time. If she was fattened up, she'd get adopted right away. She's just half starved right now. Abilene only holds dogs for 2 days before they get put down. :o( I looked, we dont have anything that holds them longer.

Try a pic anyhow! For sure it will be an adventure. Tell the puppy that you are an artist and a little eccentric. Use some dramatic lighting. Stray dogs love that!

pets aren't hard at all. shoot them like you do children...just come at them from a really low angle. :)

might take you a few minutes for her to get over you being at her level if she's really energetic, or get someone to help distract her while you're on the floor shooting her.

i'm actually contemplating taking in another weimaraner (i have one already) that's about to be de-homed. must be something wrong with me
