Lightbulb Possible N Texas Camera Lost In Chicago - 07-07-2009, 10:57 PM

Just in case I thought I would post a link to this story. I hope they find the owner of the camera. They believe it has a large number of photos from a Seagoville fast pitch softball team in Texas. For more information use the link below.

That is a man to admire. Trying everything to bring the memories home for the girls.

The finder has certainly put a lot into it.

This is one reason I write my name and phone number on my memory cards. I also have contact info in my bags and a "Stuffback" sticker on it. But a belt and suspenders philosophy can't hurt here. Besides, they could be lost separately. (Without the card in the camera, it wouldn't be identified. Though I have thought about adding "Stuffback" stickers to my individual gear.

It was me! I lost my 1Ds Mark III in Chicago after attending the tournament. Was wondering where it was ... that and my 400 f/2.8 L.

Seriously, what a cool gesture. Should be fairly easy to track if there are that many photos ... the team name has to be somewhere on the uniforms, right?

Another thing to prove, that despite what the news reports - there are still good folks out there.

He might try looking at the exif data. It may have the owners name in it. I put my name and copyright data in all of my cameras so it will be included in the exif data of every shot.
