At my last wedding the bride's mother took one of the 900x600 72dpi example bridal images I had emailed them and blew it up to 24"x36" - they didn't really ask permission, but the image (and my logo across the bottom) actually looked really good considering the source file it came from.

Moral: file size (as long as it's mostly skin/smooth areas anyways) don't really matter, be sure your logo is on a part they won't want to crop out.

Being surprised and getting upset when someone copies an image you posted online is like being surprised and getting upset when someone picks up a $100 bill you laid on the sidewalk. If you don't want it copied, do not post it. If you post it, yes, expect it to be copied. And, in many cases, just like this, expect it to be reposted.

Well, and if you "tag" someone in the photo, it's going to show up in their photos as well whether they copied it or not. I wasn't sure if that isn't what happened here????

Yeah, but even if you don't, anyone can add a tag. If someone is tagged, it will show up in their photos even if they didn't actually copy it. Maybe that's what happened?
