Canon Rep David Pearson dies

I was shocked to see this on the AC website.

I didn't know David, but the fact that AC is closing for a few hours so the staff can attend the funeral says a lot about Bill's values.

I didn't know David either, but how sad to lose another member of the photography community at such a young age! 1958 - hits mighty close to home. Condolences to his family and friends.

Sorry to hear about David. He's not the only rep in the area is he? I talked to one over a year ago but don't remember the name.

Cancer knows no age. He fought the good fight for over 2 years. David was a friend of mine and the cause of much spending on canon products. :) We attended the same church for some time.

If anyone is interested his memorial is tomorrow (Monday) at 2pm at the First Baptist Church in Lewisville.

Just got back from David's memorial. He was truly a great man and character. There were probably over a thousand people there, all of whom had a story to tell, even though they didn't all get on stage. :) David will be missed greatly.
