I think I have to agree with both Chris and you Paco.
Honestly - I'm like Ms. Pollyanna ... the sun is always shining... if I stop to help someone, I'm perfectly safe... giving the guy on the corner a couple of dollars is the right thing to do... (okay, I don't give him money, I'll go to McDonald's and get him burger... but I won't give him money, shoot me...

)... and I believe that people tend to be pretty decent in general.
The problem is that while I am willing to believe that people are 'pretty decent' in 'general'.... there are reasons I believe in the 2nd amendment and other 'self-protective' measures... because while people might be 'pretty decent in general'... me being stupid doesn't do ME any good at all if I run into one of those 'not so decent' folks. ;-)
So I meet people that I sell stuff off of CL at a retail establishment... I take my husband with me when I"m going to meet someone... things that provide protective measures in a seriously screwed up world at times... ;-)
