Hey renae, I had this issue and I had to actually use an adobe uninstaller to get it to work. I used their unistaller and it worked perfectly. I wound up googling to figure that out lol

Sorry Scott..I know better. Windows XP Firefox. I have gone thru all the steps again that said what to do if something is wrong. I even checked to see if the flash player is downloaded correctly...it says it is. I turned of my firewall to see if that was the problem..no go. I wonder if firefox has something blocking it??

Is possible. Have you tried with the Infernal Exploder? (IE)

I believe that you have to make sure you download the FF version of the plugin. Sometimes the browsers get confused and you get the IE version installed, but not the FF flavor. The Adobe website is supposed to auto detect the browser you are using then give you the right one, but we all know how well 'P' mode works
