Yup! When I got in my car yesterday - and it had only been parked for about 3 hours - it showed 115 and 108 on the way home! After 70's last week, I'm feeling like we are on the face of the sun.

Definitely hot out here for the past couple weeks. Been seeing 100-115 everyday in my Jeep. For someone who likes to be out and about i've almost always inside now just because I would rather be in A/C. Can't wait for the winter, which even then might only go down as far down as the 70's. Anything is better then the 100's though...

I just got back from Colorado Springs. It's night and day difference between TX and CO.

In the afternoon it was mid to high 80's and in the evening, it was mid to low 50's.

I know! That's where we're going and why we're going.

I just drove this thing to Albuquerque and back. I've driven it to Odessa and Austin, too.

The best part? No A/C.

No thanks. I much prefer a cool, smooth, quiet ride on long road trips. That's why I'm planning on getting a Caddy in a few years.

I have this mental image of someone cruising down the freeway with a DSLR pointed at their dash thinking 'I need to get a faster shutter speed to avoid motion blur!'

Nah, just a BB.

Too dangerous to use an SLR and drive.

Here is what the Caddy said today when I got in it! The second pic is what it said after I had driven it 20 minutes at 70 mph!
