OMG - that's hilarious!

My husband is making noises about getting a camera to take 'with' him on deployment... that an a new laptop... lol... (I think the fact that he's currently unemployed with zero income hasn't really sank in yet, lol)...and we looked at the D5000 at Best Buy last week when we went out on our 'date' night (coffee at Starbucks, followed by a couple of hours of looking at books & talking... lol.. I love the man!)... but it was pretty cheap feeling to me.

I like the "Mr. Yuck" graphic on the LCD. That really stinks to get a new camera and have something catastrophic happen. But maybe worse is to buy one that's 3-4 times expensive, have the thing turn on and not focus properly (Canon 1D Mark III).
