Too good to be true CL add...

Well, the good thing about CL is that you can see the item before you buy. Inspect carefully, take some test shots and if all is good buy it! Good luck with your purchase.

I don't know the guy, but with a comprehensive post about the lens, reason why he's selling and being open to trading for another lens is about as much of a green light as you'll get on CL. Give him a call and see what your gut tells you. Craigslist is America's garage sale ... sometimes there are legit deals from honest people.
