Mats for little league photos....Help! - 07-22-2009, 04:46 PM

I've been asked to shoot group and individual pictures of two kid league football teams, the cheerleaders, and drill team. They want the photo mats too.

So I'm looking for a supply of individual/team sports photo mats, you know, the ones with an oval/square for a 4x6 individual shot and a 5x7 opening for a team photo (or something like that). Who sells those, or something similar?

I've googled Memory Mates, but have not found what I'm looking for, or the price is way to much.

I also did a search on the forum before posting, but did not find what I was looking for. I felt sure that this subject would have been covered before.

Thanks for any and all help! Oh, I hope I posted this in the right place.

Debbie - Millers Lab will do the memory mate style thing for you - on an 8x10 - so that you dont actually give them a 'mat'.

They are pretty inexpensive, plus I think for like a percentage, they individually package each set.

Thanks Donna. I thought about Millers. Should have checked there first before posting. I just looked and it may be the best way to go. Thanks again!

We quit using MM mounts when we went digital. It is so easy to just drag and drop in the lab software. And you don't have leftover mounts to store til next season.

That's so true Don. Last time I did this, I was still shooting film. Guess my brain just naturally reverted back to the past!
