A few shots from my new endeavor with film! - 07-26-2009, 11:17 PM

Taking a photography class (of course, what other fine art would i take ) in college and we are doing everything with film. I bought an EOS Elan IIe from ebay for $20 bucks and received it yesterday in the mail. Threw in a who-knows-how-old roll of black and white film that i still had laying around from my AE-1 and went to town. Makes me remember what i miss about shooting film.

Anyway, these are a few of my favs from the roll that i developed earlier. A lot of the car ones came out a tad blurry because my shutters were dipping down into the 1/30 and slower range and I couldnt find the button to change to ISO 800....

Cant wait to actually get into class and start shooting for projects.

I do miss that analog grain. Digital pixelation just isn't the same.

I was thinking the same thing, looks pretty good to me. Personally, I LOVE grainy black and white. You should break out some Ilford 3200. Its like shooting on sugar.
