Yea, ask them their intended uses for the image and then base your fee on that. More than likely they're going to want to use it for local advertisement, news papers, free weeklys, local magazines, and then in shop imagery, menu, specials, banners, poster. They will try to get the most out of it. So you have to figure out what that's worth to you.

I was asked for a medium-quality, thumbnail image for a San Antonio map company. I retain full rights over the photo, including where and how it was displayed (this is somewhat important). I agreed not to receive monetary compensation, but the photo was credited to me near the photo. |
