And so it goes... - 07-31-2009, 12:32 AM

I did my last shoot tonight at the studio I've called home for three years. Packed up all of my gear and locked it up. Tens of thousands of images shot with several different cameras and many, many, lenses will always remind me of the Hines Place location.

Hopefully the new place will give me the opportunity to grow as much as I did learning from Greg and Jeff.

The last shot made tonight...

That is sad. I enjoyed that studio. Hopefully you have a bigger, better studio coming your way??

The new studio, while slightly smaller than the old one, will be all mine and offer both natural light and strobe areas. And it's adjacent to a brand new 6000'+ custom home on 3+ acres of lakefront property. Although I'm a little sad to say goodbye to the Hines Place joint, I can't wait to expand my shooting style with new techniques and locations!

Congrats and good luck with the new location. I'll be looking forward to seeing what you produce there as I have enjoyed seeing what you have done at the current location.

I wish...

It's my brother-in-law's new home. He was kind enough to let me use the space above six car garage for my studio. At some point it could be converted into an apartment, but for now is one 1600' open space. The home will offer me the opportunity to shoot some really great images and I can't wait for the pool and landscaping to be completed. You will most likely see a great deal of my work transitioning to natural light with strobes for effect although I will most likely still shoot some work as I have before.
