HELP! Need a location for E-session - 08-05-2009, 10:38 AM

No, not one im shooting, but MY engagement session! My fiance and I havent yet decided where we want them taken and our session is this Saturday. Anyone have any advice for some good engagement pics in the Houston area. Preferably somewhere where we wont need a permit.

My fiance wanted something with an urban feel to it, but not "ghetto" urban. So IDK, all ideas are welcome.

Thank you!

Try the area around Wortham Center downtwown by the Hard Rock. Numerous different urban feels with in a 2 or 3 block radius plus you have the area by the "river walk" and centennial park for more soft scape style images.

If you park somewhere around here:

I think you will find plenty to work with.

we are checking out the area around the wortham center for an engagement session we have next week sometime. we plan to park in a garage and grab some quick pics at the top then hit the streets. finally, we will end up back at the top of the garage when the sun is down to grab some night shots. our client loves the green tiles on texas and smith (i'm sure we will get run off shooting pics up there though).

let us know how it goes. even better, let us know when and where, that way i can come heckel you. jk.

You're in Rosenberg? Some friends of mine had theirs taken in that old section of Rosenberg (I don't remember what it's called) but they turned out really well. I do remember there was a train, and a coca-cola logo painted on the side of an old brick building. I can try to find out where it was if you're interested

Thanks for all your input guys. My photographer is thinking he would like to do it in the woodlands, which was on my choice list. Well see how it goes. If im not satisfied we can always shoot it again.

Hey, congrats on your engagement! Getting married was one of the best things I ever did.
