Does anyone plan on going to the concert on the 13th at L'Aberge Dulac?

If there are a few of us going, maybe we can carpool and save some gas.

Edit: I'm headed to the show in Houston, too. If anyone plans on camping the line, I'll offer my first born child if they let me squeeze in with them. The show is going to be crazy-packed and I don't want to get stuck in the back with the riff raff.

Can't help you, but was there on way thru to Florida and their buffet was one of the best I've ever eaten at. Yum! Yum!

I LOVE Blue October and have seen them a few times live. Always a great show! I'd love to go see them at the L'Aberge Du lac - we were just there on our honeymoon last month. they are playing the pool party - right? WE just missed Toad the Wet Sproket when we were there.

As for the buffet, Mike - We would have to totally disagree with you on that!! The night we ate there the food was compareable to Golden Corral - not bad if you're paying $8-10.. but soooo not worth the $25 they charge!! And they were rude on top of it.

The poolside cafe and the Jack Daniels grill were amazing though!

I'm ashamed to admit that I just found out who Blue October was after one of their songs played on SYTYCD (So you think you can dance). That's usually how I end up listening to new groups.

So - no - I'm not going - but I thought they sounded really good.

As far as L'Aberge Du Lac - I've heard both good and bad things about the food. Some folks say it's amazing... and some folks say it SUCKS... lol.

Not a big fan, but I do know their manager and one of the assistant stylists who worked on their album cover photos... Does that count?!?

Im a recent Blue October fan... I saw them in San Antonio back in June, made the roadie to shoot the show and I was instantly transformed into a fan! They rocked!

Ill be at the show here in houston...

They are playing two shows in Dallas. Aug 15-16.

I'm heading to Our Lady Peace on the 12th before I drive to Lake Charles to catch Blue October at L'Aberge Dulac on the 13th and see them again at Verizon on the 14th.

I will be have ringing in my ears for the rest of the month.
