Flickr, Explore and orginality

Here's a shot I took of a DC Metro station back on Jan 31, 2009, it made Flickr's Explore on Feb 12, 2009

Gosh, there's even people almost in the same spot on the left as in yours. I like your shot, but you have to wonder how many times it was taken before you took it.

I'm sure it has been taken many times. Any one with an 'artistic' eye sees it. It is a very impressive view, in my shot it was magnified by the lack of people.

I was just as puzzled by the duplicate 'Explore' bit as the actual shot position. I haven't had this situation come up before now.

Thanks Scott. You certainly do not suck but I have spent zero time trying to figure out how to get 'Explored' and have been surprised each time.
