I just finished unloading and returning a 17-foot UHaul truck. A friend helped me load it, but I unloaded it by myself. That's 12 hours I would rather have been at the bikini photo shoot at Lake Grapevine, but them's the breaks!

Was this the final part of the move in?

I hate - HATE moving. HATE it!

There are definite benefits to being in the military... the whole 'pack up your house' for you and move it - is one of my favorites... lol... ;-)

Did you paint, etc? Can't wait to see the new digs once you've got it all situated. If it's anything like my first house - it's a mix and match of whatever someone gave me, garage sale finds, etc. But I was SO happy... it was M.I.N.E. (and the mortgage co of course!).

Are you going to get a room mate still?

Not quite. I still have about 200 cubic feet to clear out of my storage shed (5x5x8). I focused on moving the stuff too big or awkward to transport in my Honda Civic.

Yeah, we used to do that.

No, but I did get the carpets cleaned before I moved in. I'm glad for that. The house really needs a good cleaning, though, and quite a bit of maintenance.

I'm still trying to figure out how to get the Irritrol Rain Dial to work. I sat on hold with them for 17 minutes today, before giving up.

LOL! Right now, my humongous living room is full of boxes! My garage is full of metal storage shelves. But, I've managed to keep the bedrooms mostly empty.

The previous owners did a great job remodeling the areas they remodeled. But, about half the house could stand similar treatment. I would especially like to remodel the kitchen.

I'm not much for furniture. I just need a place to sit at my computer.

I'm keeping the bedrooms available, just in case. I would need to find someone who could tolerate my living room full of boxes (at least until I get a storage shed). I'm wondering how practical it would be for me to continue my nude modeling and nude photography if I have a roommate? I like being able to walk naked through my house and yard! I might even shoot models at my house. But, I have to be practical, too. My photography is unlikely to bring in very much money, and I bought this house as an investment.

I am thinking that either a college student or a co-worker might be best for a roommate.
