Hey. i was wondering if anyone knows how to do those cool light streaks at night. I think you lower the shutter speed or something like that. Any help? =D

You just use a sturdy tripod and use a long exposure.

Make sure you don't touch the camera after hitting the shutter button...did that once too many a times...

For the sharpest, don't even touch the shutter, set it for a 2second timer and step away.

And if there's still some motion after using the self-timer, use the mirror lockup function if your camera is so equipped.

and try not to get hit by any moving object like a car or a train, and if a collision seems imminent, please pick up your gear and move off of the tracks/ out of the road and do not worry if you have the image exposed or not, just move!

It may seem like common sense, but if you are out at 2 or 3 in the morning, and working hard to get exactly the shot you want self preservation priorities can sometimes get skewed (don't ask me how I know) Let's just say that I am glad that I wasn't shooting video with sound with all the cussing I did to avoid the car coming around the bend while gathering up equipment.
