CARSON CITY, Nev. — A Texas man is the grand prize winner in Nevada Magazine's 32nd annual Great Nevada Picture Hunt.

Brian Garner of Fort Worth took the winning image titled "Ward Charcoal Ovens," at Ward Charcoal Ovens State Historic Park near Ely in eastern Nevada.

Garner's photo and those taken by other winners in five different categories are featured in the September/October issue of Nevada Magazine.

Congrats to Mr. Garner!

I also want to say that the linked "magazine reader / pager turner" is probably one of the slickest things I have seen in a very long time. I have never seen anything like it.

That's really cool. The photo, the win, and the online magazine.

Those Ovens are about 50 ft tall and maybe 60 ft across at the ground, it is way out in the middle of nowhere!
