Flying down for SWPPA Sept 18th - 22nd

Some of you might already know that I've moved out of Texas to North Carolina and some don't. And most of you don't even know me. Well, I'm coming back to Texas for the SWPPA later this month. Kinda of a short notice, but I'd love to see my old friends and maybe make some new ones.

So, if anyone is interested in an informal GTG either at the Sheraton or Holiday Inn, please let me know. You can pick my brain on off camera lighting, post processing or anything else somewhat related in an informal kinda deal. Please post if you're interested.

Hey Greg, it's not a widely known fact, but I'm no longer part of TriCoast anymore. Just doing my own thing in NC :) I still talk to the guys once in a while though. Hope you can still make it!

Looks like After Dark is getting us a booth at the convention. I think we're renting couches for people to come hang out and chill with us. Anyone up for it?

No, Austin After Dark is in Oct. If I wasn't going to be recovering from surgery, I would SOOOOO be going to this!

Dunno about that yet. But I think we managed to get a room at the Sheraton which has been sold out for a while. Still waiting for confirmation.

After Dark is in October. 11th to 13th. I'll probably get over there a day early and leave a day or two later. They are flying me in to Arlington to help promote and give out a taste of what After Dark is about. AD just struck a deal with a Southern Metal Choppers to provide bikes and bikers as models. That's going to be wild!

BTW, Julie Klaasmeyer and Lori Nordstrom will be there with a special maternity photography section at After Dark. If you ever want to get up close and personal with these two, this is your chance to pick their brains :)

But at SWPPA, you just get me and Kevin Jordan. But we have free t-shirts and Lori and Julie won't! So we're cooler than they are!

Ya.. I was confused.. I knew I couldn't go for some reason, but I thought it was SWPPA.. instead its a different commitment.
