Christian Poveda was murdered in El Salvador. In the '80's he covered the civil war there for Time and other wars. Later he moved in to documentary film making. He was currently making film on El Salvador's gangs. Very sad! The reason I wanted to get into photojournalism was to cover El Salvador. I never got the chance, unfortunately. I see he did La Vida Loca. I always wanted to see that. |
